Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.
The business lists hours on 4 days of the week. The most common schedule is 1β7 pm. Note that it does not open on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. 3 spaces in one - a lovely gallery, a tea parlour and a bar. The bar had great staff and the drinks were interesting and tasty. A great addition to the day if visiting the Obama library. Would be a great event space.

We were super excited to come check out this concept, but pretty disappointed by the service and value. Portions were incredibly small, even for tea. While the flavors were delicious and the teas were awesome, each course took nearly an hour for foods that were likely pre-made. We had to wait about 30-45 mins for our check, despite asking several times. Beautiful space, gorgeous ceramics and fun idea for the community, but this missed the mark for us sadly.

I canβt say itβs worth $75/person (thatβs before tax and tip). This is the most comically small high tea portion I have ever been given. You get about half a cup of tea for each of the three courses. We were giggling pretty hard every time they put something down. Especially the sandwiches. Two 1/8 sandwiches per person with a thin smear of egg and pimento. That plate in the photo is SMALL donβt be fooled. One more ick is that they do that thing where they ask you if you want sparkling or still but donβt mention the free tap, you gotta do the Oliver Twist on them and ask if they stock the poor people liquid. Thereβs a lot of good to say. The ambience is lovely, all of the ceramic ware they are serving on is unique and beautiful. Super flowy linen everywhere, and the building by itself is a gem. The taste of the food was nice. Dessert in particular they had some major aesthetics going on as well, not quite like anything Iβve had, kind of like perfect little Michelin dessert bites. They are new and figuring it out
